Whitaker Mural
June 2024 - July 2024
I was delighted when Gaynor from The Whitaker got in contact to offer me the opportunity to recreate my college mural to fit a space in The Whitaker Gallery. This is my first Large Commissioned Project. This piece took approximately 30 hours total and features 2 interwoven lines with 9 people walking across them. The concept for this piece explores the perception of direction, the people are going in different directions however they are still equally going in the right direction. The process was all in all very smooth due to both The Whitaker, who were very accommodating as well as having the knowledge from previously completing my mural for college.

Here features a selection of acrylic paintings that I've created in my free time. They range from 4-20 hours each this is dependent on style, detail, colour and size. I find it peaceful to put on music and paint what comes to me and/or what I have found and want to recreate, it also ensures I stay practiced and helps me manage my time.
Drawings + Sketches

Small showcase of some of my most recent sketches and drawings. Inspiration for my pieces range from my own life experiences that I want to conceptualise into an image to a simple desire to draw what meets my eye whether that be in a dream, through a window or on my social scrolls.
Fashion
My love for fashion was re-discovered when I found my mothers sewing machine and started playing around with thrifted items and fabrics that I had found from college. Covering a mix of simple alterations to full pieces made from scratch. I'm loving learning how to sew and despite my pieces not being very refined, they are much loved and have become great picks for a fancy night out or for the more simpler pieces, staples for every day wear.

Pictures give us a way to capture and keep beautiful moments forever. Windows capture life as it passes by whether it be a plane, a car or simply a window of your own home life always wanders through the windows. There is such a wonder in that which lends itself to the name I chose for this group of photography 'From the window'. This project is an open book and with each experience, such as my recent travels, I have been able to add to it various sites from my time away.
